Dr Kenichi Yumino

Kenichi Yumino is Emeritus Professor at Shizuoka University, Japan and President of the Japan Creativity Society. In high-school and college, he studied Electricity & Computer Science and proceeded to a doctoral course in Educational Psychology at Kyusyu University. His current interests include creative problem solving, how to foster pupils’ creativity in school, training in creativity for pre-service teachers, and the use of praise in encouraging creative attitudes and behaviours.

His publications include the following books: Memory Structure and Retrieval (1991), The Psychology of Extra-curricular Activity and Integrated study (1999), Image and Creation (2001), The Psychology of Integrated Study (2001) and Creativity Education in the World (2005).
